Q: How long do blood python eggs take to hatch?

A: Depending on the type of incubation you use, maternal or artificial, blood python eggs may take up to 80+ days to hatch.  We solely use artificial incubation, to better control incubation conditions and also to allow the female to resume eating & put weight back on instead of incubating eggs.  When artificially incubated at 89-90 degrees Fahrenheit, blood python eggs will hatch in approximately 58-60 days.
